Instructional Video

Downloading data

• After launching the application, wait for a while and the progress bar at the bottom of the screen will turn orange "Checking asset file update ... update found." is displayed, and then the user is taken to the login menu (see upper right).

• After moving to the login menu, downloading of dialogue scenarios and voice data starts automatically. Download progress (total number of files/size of files) is displayed.

　

1. When the progress bar turns light blue and “Ready” is displayed in the upper left corner, the system is ready.
2. Tap the "config menu" button.

　

Thereafter, when the application is launched and it is confirmed that there are updates to the dialogue scenario and voice data, it will automatically move to this screen and download the data.

If data downloading does not work.

注意

Please download with a stable Internet connection environment. Wi-Fi connection is recommend.

Long time during downloading or decompression (Extract) of downloaded files, if it gets stuck (for several tens of seconds), you can download the file again by using the following method.

• Exit and re-launch the application.
• Redirected to the login menu and the process of downloading the missing files will begin.
• After the download is complete, the message "Ready" will be displayed.

If this does not work, we apologize for the inconvenience. Reinstallation after uninstallation of the application, and please try restarting your smartphone, etc.

Character selection and settings

　

1. Tap the "char1" character selection tab. "ACUAH" is displayed as the standard model.
2. Also, select the image quality, although it should match the specifications of your smartphone. (Low quality) "Very Low" ←-> "Ultra" (High quality)
3. Select the motion type.
4. Select the voice type.
5. Tap the OK button.
6. Tap the "return" button in the lower right corner of the screen, move to the character display screen.

Character display screen

• After the progress bar at the bottom center of the screen turns green and "Load completed." message is displayed. The orb appears near the center of the screen.

• In this state, there are two ways to display the character.

  • Tap the orb
  • Start charging the smartphone

  Tap the Orb" to display the character.

　

After the initial startup, this "character display screen" will be the initial screen for starting the application.

注意

The orb will not be displayed if the smartphone battery power is less than 20%. Please check below, "When the battery level of the smartphone is less than the set value".

　

• Start charging the smartphone

Mainly intended for use with false-hologram smartphone stands. If you use the false-hologram smartphone stand with charging cable, please set the smartphone on the stand without tapping the orb in this screen state.

Re-display hidden buttons

Buttons displayed at the bottom of the screen will automatically hide off the screen after a while. To display the buttons again, tap the bottom of the screen.

When the battery level of the smartphone is less than the set value.

The character is active in conjunction with the battery level of the smartphone. The default value for a character awake is at least 20% battery remaining. This value can be changed in "wake battery level" on the configuration menu 1.(Minimum 15% to maximum 100%)

If the remaining battery charge is less than the set value as shown, "Recovering from fatigue: xx%" is displayed. Characters cannot be displayed.

If the charging cable is not connected, "need charging" is displayed. Connect the charging cable to charge the smartphone.

　

Also, even while the character is active, when the battery level falls below the "sleep battery level" setting value, the character goes into rest mode and is shown on the left. Allow the battery to recover from fatigue until it is charged above the "wake battery level".

Talking to the characters (voice recognition)

When the character appears, tap the character.

A microphone icon (purple sphere) appears in the screen. Please speak to the character while the microphone icon is glowing softly.

Try saying, "Hello".

If the character understands, the response should be "Hi, there" or "Hello".

If the microphone icon disappears, especially without any reaction from the character, it seems that voice recognition did not work. Tap the character again to talk to it.

If a character fails to understand a spoken word, the light blue "？" will appear in the upper left corner of the screen with the reaction “Sorry, I didn't understand...".

In this case, the microphone icon will appear automatically, so try speaking again.

If the voice recognition does not work.

注意

Please check if the "Record audio" permission is allowed. Google's voice recognition function is used, so "Google" must be installed and enabled. Please check the settings of your Android smartphone.
